How did you get them? Weight gain, hormone imbalance, steroid use? That might make a difference on how you can get rid of them.

Fat surrounding your pectoral muscles?

Strengthen your pectorals and lose weight. Simplest answer.

Pushups and pullups are awesome, basic exercises.

This. Unless you have a clinical diagnosis of gynocomastia, then surgery is the answer.

I suppose I should have been more specific.

Im fat. 6'3 and up to 280 I'm turning 32 in march.

So I've decided I gotta do something. I've been eating right and workin out. I go every other day, cardio and strength training.

Looking for specific stuff on the non cardio days that I can do to help with my man boobies.

Instead of worrying about the little things (what to do on "off" days) first I'd be worried about the big things. Namely diet and workout routine. You say you're "eating right"...that means nothing to us. You could be eating rice cakes, raisin bran and tofu every day and thinking you're doing awesome...you may also think that your 30 min on the elliptical and 30 variations of bicep curls is a good thing too.

So, what are you eating and what's your routine? Once you get those dialed in, then you can worry about supplemental workouts.

Im on an HCG diet lost 26lbs in a little over three weeks. Still on the diet plan on losing a total of 60 lbs. I tired working out at the gym, just didnt lose weight on the HCG you dont have to work out, strict diet which isnt too bad.

Most of us prefer not to inject ourselves with hormones to lose weight- we prefer the old fashioned way...you know, working out and eating right. If you didn't lose weight at the gym it's because your diet still sucked.

The only reason you lost weight is because you starved yourself, not because of the HCG.

You are basically on the right track w/ your diet, just make sure you are eating ENOUGH. If you are not getting 17-1800 cals, you will stall pretty fast.

At the gym or out of it, the only concrete thing you need to know is to do squats. You can start doing them at home with a broomstick or something, and keep adding weight until you have to go to the gym to get enough weight on the bar. Stretch your legs and back out, it will help over time. By the time you can do 225 for reps, which won't take long, your metabolism will be screaming and really help your diet along. If you aren't doing squats, your strength training is more like cardio that gives you a bit bigger arms.

Like Roland said, don't sweat the small stuff. Eating less than you were, making sure what you do eat is good for you, and doing a big, heavy exercise a couple times a week will do everything you need right now. The little stuff may make a .1% difference, but it will cause you to put less energy or thought into the things that matter.

Good, so your diet is pretty good. You could consider cutting grains. What kind of yogurt? Plain or flavored? If it's flavored ditch it right now- it is packed with sugar. If it's plain you're ok, or if it's Greek I think you're ok (H46Driver likes a certain kind that is sugar free, I forget what it is now).

Squats, deads and bench.

Good luck.

I'm not a hardcore gym guy like some of these guys so take my advice for what it's worth, but if you're trying to workout without a gym I'd recommend P90X. I started on Jan. 2nd. Down 10lbs plus put on some muscle and can tell I've gained strength. I partially tore a rotator cuff a few years back and didn't do much of anything for 18-24 months so I was really starting over. Combined with a Paleo diet it is working well for me given how out of shape I started at. 6 feet tall and 282lbs when I started.

I have no ill side effects of an HCG diet and frankly I dont think im starving myself. I know of quite a few that have done this with great success. So if you dont read the HCG forum and undesrstand how it works you'll never know. I dont think anyone will know unless they have tried it themselves..at a minimum of 21 days, its not that difficult, just cut sugar bread, milk cheese. I still eat steak, chicken, fruits, veggies. You take HCG homepathic drops under your tongue or you could inject it, most prefer the drops.

I researched how it works, its a hormone that pregnant women secrete. And you're injecting it into your body. YOU may not have side effects...now...but who knows what injecting hormones into your body will do over they long term. Also, you ARE starving yourself.that's what those hormones do.

I've known several people that did the HCG thing. They all lost weight, but guess what, they put it right back on. It's not sustainable because it does not fix the root cause of why you are fat. If it works for you, great but I wouldn't advise taking hormones of any kind without talking with your doctor first.

Did you just type homeopathy?

Do you really know what that word mean, if not you should look it up. The HCG you are taking as a drop or spray under your tongue is based off of junk science. I have talked to a couple of people who have tried it and at best it is a mild appetite surpressant.

I know nothing about the hormone injections but general considering most people can lose weight if.they choose, would side with Roland and not risk it

How many calories do you eat a day? Most of the HCG diets guideline around 500. That is starving yourself. Also, the HCG drops your putting underneath your tongue probably arent even real HCG, or enough to make a difference. Its all a scam. Do some research. Theres been multiple double blind studies done on that diet that prove its not the HCG making you lose the weight, its the starving yourself.

I have slight gynocomastia. (thanks Dad!) I am VERY tempted to get the damn surgery. At 13% body fat I still had a bit of jubbly.

FUCK.... Everything else was nice and firm and the one thing that chicks really like, a built, hard chest... I can't get.

In fact, I might see how much it is costing locally.....

Bodybuilders have used HCG (injected, not the useless sublingual BS) for quite a while, often as post-cycle/off cycle to maintain gains and not lose too much when they're off cycle. It's a mild anabolic, so it will increase fat burned, along with possible increases in muscle mass... but not if you're at a calorie deficit.

As I'm sure it's been stated: to lose the bitch tits, you can do 1 of 2 things. Lose weight(fat)... or hide it w/ bigger muscles...

no 2 ways about it.

The only reason you lost weight is because you starved yourself, not because of the HCG.

This.

Losing that much weight in such a short period of time isn't smart, and it isn't safe.
You lost 26 lbs of what? Fat? Muscle? Water?

HCG diets are starvation pure and simple.

4-7k depending on how bad it is, insurance may pay if you have swollen glands. Usually the gland issues are caused by hormone issues so you might want to get your test levels checked if you haven't already.

OP, if it's strictly fat weight loss is best option and most plastic surgeons will recommend losing weight before surgery so that you get the best results. If you have swollen glands under the skin, go see a doc.

The best way to lose weight is to tweak your diet as you continue to drop weight. I'd also recommend upping your cardio as you lose weight. A lot of it depends on how fast you want to lose the weight. I'd do a minimum of 30 minutes per day, every day. As to the diet it's easy to write one the hard part is tweaking as you drop weight to maintain muscle mass while dropping fat.

Also where do you want to end up, weight wise? A goal is helpful.
