Recomend me.... Small, good, roughed, adventure camera
Looking for a good camera for taking pictures out hunting, adventure riding and traveling.
Not back packing, weight is not so much an issue is size. Will be motorcycling/adventure riding (forest service roads/jeep trails).
Want something better than the camera on my phone.
I know 0, zip, nada about photography. Auto focus would be a +.
Battery life +
Ease of use +
Size +
Casio Exilim EX-G1
If it were me I would get the Panasonic Lumix TS3.

I've got a Olympus tough series camera that's been pretty good. Waterproof shockproof freeze proof and takes good pictures
If you wanna take video it has to be Go Pro. a buddy attached on to his lab when he went duck hunting. The video was awsome.
so is this one.

I think mine is the 6000 - and it has been jetskiing, boating, swimming, to the park with the kids, and a million other places. It is starting to show its age some in terms of wear, but until it just outright fails, I will keep it around. Surprisingly good picture quality, though underwater with the kids in the pool is a true trial and error experience. I highly recommend the Stylus Tough line....

No idea never used it for stills.
User interface is not what I would call good. No focus, no zoom, no picture adjustment.
Now for video in all weather and small it's hard to beat.
Pentax Optio WG-2 Rugged Digital Camera it's new to the market but should be worth a look.

They're decent until you start to loose light... at least mine's that way. As soon as the sun goes down, it turns to suck.
Also a tag... heading down range in a few months and need to find something better.
The Nikon Coolpix AW100 is a pretty cool compact camera.
