I've been charged with the task of creating a new website for my church. Ours currently runs on Wordpress which looks like it has real powerful features but we are finding it hard to update.
I need something simple enough for a church secretary to be able to access the site and make changes. I'm also not looking to spend alot of money.

I've been looking at churchplantmedia, weebly, and cloversites.

So I thought I would seek recommendations from ARFCOM.

I built and ran the website for my local VFW for several years. I used DotNetNuke and was happy with the features but there were always issues with performance and constant upgrades.

Another member recently took it over and re-did it using SilverStripe. I'm impressed with the work they did and how well the website runs. http://www.plano-vfw.org/
The bottom right hand corner has a link to the site designer. You might contact them for a quote.

BTW, what you're looking for is called a "Content Management System" (CMS).
