I've used an I-pad and liked it. I don't want to spend anywere near that much though. I've seen some tablets in the $80.00 range. That would be ideal, but I don't want to buy a POS. All I want it for is internet browsing, occasional video streaming (youtube, hulu, pornhub) and downloading emails that sometimes have videos in them. Whats a cheap tablet that would do all of that for under $150.00?
Not going to happen. You should wait for the $250 Asus Tegra 3 tablet to arrive later this year.

If you want a cheap tablet the only option are a B&N Nook tablet or kindle fire. problem is they have limited capabilities. You you really should avoid any cheap tablets like the le pan.
Just hold off a bit, you will have many more options in a few months.
its also very important to get a tablet with android 4.0 (ICS) that can run it properly.
