Looking for a cheap tablet to be used at work to display powerpoint slides during meetings. Looking to spend less than 125 bucks. We're looking for cheap. Don't need much memory or 3G capability. Just Wifi to be able to access a website to download the slides.
Any suggestions?

In anything you'd want to own, this.
I dunno if it can play Powerpoint shows or not, but I picked up a used Kindle Fire from a guy in town for $120.
I've played with new tablets art the ~$125 range, and they all have resistive screens and are VERY frustrating to operate. Usually fairly slow, too.

Slow isnt a huge deal. We are just looking to buy 6 or 7 of them to reduce the amount of paper and toner we use printing off massive slide decks several times a week.
Functional is key.

I'd look at units with capacitive screens, then.
Of course, most capacitive units are hovering at $200, on the low side. Lenovo, Visio, and Amazon all have tablets in that range that should be as easy to operate as a typical current generation Android phone. There are some other manufacturers with units under $200, but they're iffy.
The Lenovo looks really nice, a buddy of mine talks highly about the Visio. You could also wait until the Fire 2 comes out and try to pick Fires up on clearance.
Get a Dell streak 7 on ebay, root it and put streakdroid wifi on it. You'll have to dig around to find something that will display .PPT files on android. the whole thing shouldn't cost more than $160.
