got home from deployment, need a new car, is this used BMW okay at first glance? NOW WITH PICS

This dude's been selling this thing for a month, it hasn't sold, but according to a couple Soldiers who both own this same year and model of car they say it's good to go.

I'm wondering I've heard the little turbos on the 335i can burn out if you mess with them and he's got a custom blowoff, would that be a cause for concern?
It's either this car or a 2008 GT500 for a few thousand more. (32).

I was on a search for a 330 or 328 til I started talking to owners of those models. Every single one of them said they would not own a BMW without a warranty. That sealed the deal for me.

I would get the GT 500 over a souped up BMW with no warranty, 26k is alot of money.

I don't like messing with other people's modified cars personally, 'cause there's no idea on how well the modifications were done. You could be buying someone else's time bomb, for all you know.

GT 500, especially if it's stock. I wouldn't buy a messed with car unless it's for racing only.

Those also had some trouble with the high pressure fuel pump as well. If those are your only 2 options Id go for the GT esp if stock. Last thing you want is a new BMW that is a pain to have warranty work done on because its modded and the dealer is a prick.

I would have to agree, even though the 335i is a substantially better car, you have no idea how the other guy made the modifications.

Buy an older BMW and do the modifications yourself.
