Its November 7, 2012. By some sick twist of fate Obama just won reelection. Now what?
What do we, as freedom-loving, gun-owning, red-blooded Americans, do to preserve our freedoms and save our Country? What CAN we do? What WOULD we do? What ARE we going to do?
Purely hypothetical. With some luck and the grace of God he will be gone, but... What if?

Keep pushing back and hope that his Supreme Court nominees don't get approved by congress.
ETA: While we could recover from the position we're in now, the probability of it happening is pretty much nil. It's just a matter of how fast we get to the bottom.

Well it's clear that if Obama is reelected we have only mere months left before "doomsday". He is not going to waste any time in enacting his communist fascist agenda. We need to be vigilant in stockpiling ammunition and survival equipment, and stay active on as many web forums as possible. The community of armed, prepared, God-fearing Americans will undoubtedly prevail when SHTF and we experience TEOTWAWKI. The leftist tree hugging hippies will come to us starving and begging for food and we will crush them beneath the heels of our 5.11 tactical boots, and enact the justice of the LORD upon them for their heathen ways.
But we have to be ready. Right now the left is trying to lull us into a false sense of security. They try to distract us with issues that bear little to no relevance to the situation at hand. I know far too many people who are starting to sell off their ammunition stockpiles and guns so they can afford pointless things that won't be worth a damn when SHTF. I will not be sharing my supplies with these people, as they knew the warnings and refused to acknowledge them.
Our day will come when we show those communist bastards who GOD fights with!

As a liberal, life time NRA member and an atheist. I can see the danger on both sides. Obama sucks, but he sucks just as much as any Republican. They are all taking our rights....thinking that one side is better then the other just makes you a partisan sheep.

I did not in 08 and will not vote for Obama in 2012. And I sure as hell won't vote for that tool Romney. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid.

I don't foresee the Dems holding onto the Senate. BO can't sign what the House and Senate doesn't pass. A GOP controlled Congress backed up with a conservative (usually) Supreme Court trumps the Executive branch.

Mr. BO has already stated that if he could, he would work around Congress. He has no regard or perhaps knowledge of what "checks and balances" is meant to do.
Current example is his total disregard (which places him in contempt of a Federal judge) for the order to re-open drilling in the gulf after the BP mishap. His resent attempt to intimidate the SCOTUS while they are writing their obamacare opinions clearly demonstrates the workings of his tyrannical mind.
If your prediction of the Dems loosing the Senate comes to pass, get ready for rule by Executive Order.
After all, he is the Commander AND Chief of all 57 states in addition to all the corpses in the military.

As a life-long conservative (borderline Libertarian) I have to say both parties are losing sight of the core beliefs of the country. The Democratic Party has been taken over by left wing extremists that want to fundamentally transform this country. Not all Dems fall in to this category, but the party leadership definitely openly promotes this agenda. I'm not exactly sure how you can consider yourself a liberal who supports gun rights since the one of the core principles of modern liberalism is the abolishment of gun rights, but that's another thread altogether.
The establishment Republicans have become a center-right group who have no desire to truly shrink the size and scope of the federal government. Only the "extremist" far right Republicans want this. I guess I'm one of the extremists. That said, they are not equally evil and sitting on the sidelines during the election is a BAD idea. This one is going to be tough for either side. There are a lot of "useful idiots" out there that do not keep up on the current condition of this country or believe the obviously biased media. Remember, politics naturally attracts personalities that love to win and love power, so why would they really work to give up power that they control?
As far as eroding gun rights, I think Obama will circumvent Congress to do this. He'll use the EPA and lead content in bullets. The EPA will force manufacturers to use different metals which will make the price of ammo skyrocket and it will be economically impossible for people to shoot regularly. The military already has "environmentally friendly" bullets available and they'll be set up to make the transition quickly. This theory may be way out in left field, but I think it is how he will keep the subject out of Congress and the Supreme Court but achieve his goals. He's already used EPA to stifle businesses he deems enemies of his, and his party's, agenda.

More than one way to skin a cat. If you want to wave the white flag and give up, go ahead. Obama will NEVER get a vote from me. Don't like Romney, the Republican insiders crowned him king months ago when the process first started.How many delagates have been STOLEN from Ron Paul since this started. Play with the hand your dealt. The EVIL ones want us to go away. There are soo many issues to look at. For me just the disgraceful decision this guy made on his appointments to the US Supreme Court is reason not to give him another shot.

I voted for Ron Paul in the Primary yesterday even though he had no chance of winning the state just because I don't think Romney will be a good President. I don't know what I will do come the general election. I will probably vote Romney just to get Obama out of office but I honestly have a hard time caring anymore who is elected as they are all worthless pieces of crap that don't give two shit's about the country's well-being.
I mainly voted yesterday in order to remove the 1% sales tax our city has been collecting for the last 4 years.

Very little will change regarding 2A since GOP control Congress.
Regarding economy, historically speaking, US economy has done slightly better under Democratic administration than GOP one, but the difference is not huge. So very little will change regarding economy either.
You have to realize that today, voting demographic is such that neither GOP nor DNC has enough voters...they have to court folks in the center (moderates). So any successful president has to court at the very least, his electoral base and moderate/center.
You can also see similar kind of party independence in corporate lobbying funds: they only care who is in power, not which party.
