Jim: This may be old news to many, but not to me. I always enjoyed American Shooter when it was on TV. When I returned to the USA after several years in Europe I realized it was off the air and replaced with your new show: Shooting USA.

What's the story behind this change?

Thanks and keep up the great work. Two of my four children love to watch you on TV.

Short answer:

Most of us now producing Shooting USA originally worked for the production company that owned American Shooter. The company got sold to new owners who didn't have an interest in continuing to produce gun shows.

So we left to form our company, Tier One Media, and to continue to produce a gun show series. But we didn't own the copyright to the name American Shooter... so we had to have a new name--Shooting USA.

(There were lots of lawyers and lots of threats involved in the change-over, but that's the short story above.)
