Jim,

Have you ever posted about your personal collection?

NFA stuff? Suppressors? MGs?

What's on your wish list right now?

This is going to sound awful, but I don't really have a wish list.

That's because most everything I find interesting just shows up at our shop for "show and tell". Even the NFA stuff comes in from time to time, under a provision in the law to allow "Test and Evaluation" without a class three license transfer.

The closest thing to a wish list is currently being built and finished by Colt--a matched pair of Model Ps with sequential serial numbers and a nickel finish. No question I'll end up buying those when the trial period runs out.

Otherwise, you've seen my service rifle collection on the wall in the gun room. I really like those old battle rifles. And I've been thinking that I need to add a first generation Colt 1911 to that wall, but I can't afford one of those.

Jim

Theres often guns I want to buy soon, and will end up getting. So I guess I think of it more as a want list. So off the top of my head.

A1 Upper for my next build. Bought it.
CZ40B
CZ75B Bought it.
9mm Carbine (Thinking of either a keltec or a 9mm upper)
FAL w/18 in barrel
Another G19

And thats it.

M82 A1 is on top of my list. Right below it is would be one that would have to be built.....I wrote CZ and said they should have a 25th anniversary edition 10MM pistol honoring Col. Jeff Cooper built on the CZ75B design...which is what the failed Bren 10 was...a knock off of the of the CZ 75.

The Colts have arrived and they are so bright I could use one for a mirror.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Now, a Bob Munden Action Job, some simulated Ivory grips...

You think the rappers have "bling"? This is "gun bling"

I just got my DSA Para FAL(S) so I guess the only gun left is a correct or collector's grade M1 Garand to finish my "most popular battle rifles of the world" quest. Guess I could trade one of the Paras

All that I need is 500 yards of clear range with a nice hillside as a backstop. I have everything else that I want.

Those are cool lookin' irons there Jim. Most excellent photography as well. Please post pics when the new stocks are added.

Being on a fixed income (disabled vet) I've had to aquired more reasonable firearms. A pair of Firestar Plus's 9mm, A mossberg 500a 12gage, A car 15 223 by Olympic, a 9mm Highpower carbine (for fun gun), A 22cal. tack driver. Not a hugh investment, but should keep the home fires burning. And the best thing of all is my wife, a good woman, who can use them all with fair results and knows how to lay down suppressing fire.

NATURALY YOU CAN'T HAVE TO MANY GUNS IN YOUR COLLECTION...BUT THE ONE THING I WISH I WOULD BE ABLE TO GET BACK IS A SAVAGE BOLT ACTION SHOTGUN THAT MY FATHER TRADED TO GET A SEARS T MODEL .22 FOR MY FIRST GUN WHEN I WAS 7 YEARS OLD... I CAN STILL REMEMBER HIM TURNING THE CHOKE ADJUSTMENT JUST BEFORE HE SHOT A BIG BLACK SNAKE OUT OF A RIVERBIRCH. I MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO LOCATE THE GUN BUT TO NO AVAIL. MY DADS GONE BUT MY LITTLE 22 STILL WITH ME AND WILL GO ON WITH MY TWIN BABYGIRLS...LOVE YOU DAD AND THANKS.

What I have:

1943 vintage SA M1 Garand

1918 vintage SA M1903A1 Springfield

M16A1 Clone rifle (1970 upper)

AR15 16 in. Carbine

Mossy M590A1 Shotgun

USGI Colt/Sistema M1911A1 pistol (is a mutt, half US Colt, half Argentine Colt)

SA M1911 GI

What I want:

USGI M1 Carbine (preferably Inland or IBM)

SA M1A rifle

I'll finish there because if I keep going, I might hog all the space here.
