We had some problems getting our "First Shot" coverage up as quickly as we wanted to but the videos are steadily coming online HERE.

Part of it is just that nobody's come out with anything earth-shakingly cool, save for the Kel-Tec KSG bullpup shotgun. And Kel-Tec leaked it on the KTOG board about two/three weeks ago now, and it went viral across the gun boards and blogs before SHOT opened.

Most of the products are minor evolutionary steps, some more Gen4 Glock models, more .22 plinker/trainer versions of existing products. A few more players in the ultra-compact CCW market etc.

Other than the KT KSG, there's been more WTF?-discussion over the Taurus shotshell revolvers, and S&W copycatting them than anything else.

While weapons might be stalled out I'm surprised there isn't more "inventions" in the communications/electronics area. We will see I guess.

was thinking the same thing. Maybe i am getting all impatient in my old age or just expect things faster in this day and age of instant gratification. So far I would say the coverage has been pretty slim. Not nearly as exciting as years past. Maybe its because there was nothing for the Magpul fanboys to leg hump to no end this year and not as many people went? I don't know.

Got it. I hope those clips are sturdy enough to not lift and fall off of a belt/vest. It is an interesting concept, that makes for carrying extra mags easier without having to stack too many molle pouches.
