Should I get them or would you recommend something else?

i read "total resistance" years ago and liked it. it is ofcourse more of a manual then a story. if you like reading field manuals go for it, from a historical literature standpoint, or if we ever face having to join an insurgency to maintain our freedom the book would be quite interesting.

i also liked "the citizen soldiers handbook", it's along the same lines. and i may soon buy and read "holding your ground" also available at amazon.

i've read a lot of obscure / oddball prepper / survivalist / etc. stuff, are you looking more for fiction or non-fiction? i can probably reccomend a few decent reads...

"survival guns", well james wwesley, rawels speaks highly of it as do "survivalists" who have been in the lifestyle for years but honeslty lok how old the book is and how far just the lowly ar15 has come and what all is different in the last 10 years. sure some concepts don't change but as i understand it the book is almost entirely on guns and gear, there have been a whole lot of advances since it was written. i'm guessing it's no where near current and likely not nearly as relevent as it was years ago when it was printed... just my $.02
