My Big Bear. I miss you terribly. Buck was a big Lab at 125 and strong as a bull
You don't know how many memories this brings back. I had two black labs that were brothers I got as pups way back about 20 years ago, and we had kiddie pools set up for them. Blackjack was one of them but I can't remember the name of the other one. We would let them out of the pen in the mornings and they would run side by side, wide open all the way around our property, and then jump into the pools. It didn't matter what the temperature was, just that it was water. There's a creek behind the house they liked as well. Those dogs were so much fun to watch play. They were inseparable.
Thanks for posting.
Gotta love a Lab!

Why don't you go get another Lab?
Mikey did not like Lobo when he was small
@ 10 weeks
I had a boxer that I just gave back to a friend that have him to me because I could no longer take care of him financially, with him needing some healthcare that I couldn't afford. When I got him I was married and my dad was still at home. My dad claimed him and loved him very much, as he'd wanted a boxer his whole life and never got one. My wife and I divorced and my dad had a stroke and I had to put him in a home, and I got custody of my son, all within a year or so of each other, and I am disabled and with no income from my son's mother I can't afford a dog right now. It's the first time in my life I've ever been without a dog. I would like to get my boxer back once I get back on my feet, but he has taken up with the children at my friends house, and they play with him and give him more attention than I ever could. I always consider labs when I think of getting a dog though. My next will probably be a lab or a shepherd. I was leaning shepherd, I had one as a kid, but they are so serious, whereas a lab is just a big clown. lol
Post up more pics. If I can find some of mine I will scan them and post them.

Thank you. Buck was my second Lab and he came from a Champion Hunter named Samson. Mikey was a little guy I found in the newspaper and had to have him. Lobo came from a Champion Show and Master Hunter so he got all of the looks.

Labs are the best dogs in the world. I have led a better life thanks to two of those goofy bastards.
Buck had some short ears but they a big advantage.
War Face !
LOOK! Look at our butts !
You know what those ears are for, don't you?
Dogs (and beer) are proof that God loves us.
Great looking buddies!
Especially with his nose in his ass
That one picture would look great in a black frame with a white mat!
That one too

haha Mikey was 9 when I brought Lobo home. He was NOT happy to have a little terror with razor teeth chewing on him LOL. A few months went by with Mikey tolerating Lobo and his antics then one day Mikey up and went WHOOOFF! Grrrrr !! Snap !!! Lobo ran to his crate and wouldn't come out for a few days Lol. That was the day the pecking order was established

He is a handsome dog. He gets lots of compliments and attention when we/I take him out to the park. We have a couple framed pictures of him but they are not very big. I'll pass your suggestions on to the wife.
