Spell Check

One thing that can be very annoying about spell check is that it goes back and looks at everything you quoted, plus it looks at all "coding" suck as 
and says they are wrong.
Is there anyway to make it so it only looks at what you are adding to a post and ignore coding?

I know it has nothing to do with what you are asking, but if you use Firefox, it spell checks as you type.
