.338 mag is about as high as I ever want to go. Something about shooting a gun so powerful that the shooter risks a detached retina just doesn't do it for me.

That and @ $40 a pop would make this gun very painful to shoot in many ways.

I've shot exactly 27 rounds of .460 Weatherby before, and I pretty much hated every single shot.

Compared to this thing, the Weatherby isn't jack shit....

I'd love to see the baffle scouring action inside THAT thing! And you people thought a 10" AR was bad

As I said before, I'd have serious concern how my cracked in half collar bone would handle that.

I'd like to see it's effect on soft tissue.

This but 338 lapua.

Although, 50 is GTG, the brake does a great job of making it comfortable to shoot.

I'll just leave this here. From Remington's ballistic calculator

A bullet with a weight of 2400 grains and a velocity of 2100 feet per second would produce approximately:
23,499 ft. lbs. energy

I'd rather just hit someone with my car. Easier on the shoulder.

I doubt it would do much differently. Though I bet you could use that load to do a Texas heart shot on a Cape Buffalo.
