I finally signed up for a CCW training class and it's tomorrow! Anything I should know prior to getting there? It's been awful finding a holster that will work for CC (short waisted w/curves) but I have found one that works pretty well but still sits a bit high for my liking. Pistol I'm using is a 3913TSW. Guess I'm a bit nervous about it! Any advice?

We don't have CCW training where I live so I'll just say treat it like any other class. Just relax and be open to the training. As for being short waisted w/curves and finding a holster that's comfy - it can be a challenge. I good quality belt and holster will make a huge difference in the comfort level.
Good luck!
Thanks MrsMonk

I already have my CCW permit, but thought the training would be good to have. They cover a lot of the real life scenarios and how to handle them.

Ah, gotcha.
Yep, training is always good to have.

I'm seeing this late, but the quest for a good and comforting (may not be "comfortable") holster is an ongoing thing, especially for women. [Even us guys have boxes of holsters that just didn't work out for us.]
Check out
http://www.corneredcat.com/ for lots of good female-oriented info.
Another excellent source of info are the various videos that Lima has made. However, Lima isn't short-waisted. You can start to check this out at the link below, but the audio is terrible (and she has a normally scratchy voice).

A good GUN BELT is essential. For casual (won't be seen) I highly recommend the Wilderness Tactical Instructor Belt, 5-stitch.
www.gunnersalley.com carries them at a discount and are an excellent outfit to do business with.
So, how was the class?
Was it one of the classes run by
www.neshooters.com or someone else?
