Is this a formal or an informal occassion?

How would you dress for this?

Sweatpants, a rhinestone thong, a tiara and a top hat.

Wait until you're airborne and then take off your sweatpants and top hot and throw them over the side.

What's she going to do - jump?

Depends.

Hard to top the thong idea, but it'll be chilly up there. I'd wear jeans and a jacket and bring a hat and gloves.

I'd either look up the company or event and see what they recommend or just ask the person setting it up.

Sounds like a blast. Enjoy!!

I know my vote doesn't count as much as Site Staff, but THIS is clearly the winner.

I would say informal. Like Barb said, it's probably going to be chilly. I would wear jeans, nice button up, jacket and comfy shoes.

So here's a twist you may want to consider ...

My brother proposed to his wife on a hot air balloon date. It was unexpected.

It will be a fun, casual time. I'd much prefer a ride in the early evening on a hot July night; but if that's not possible, call the company to find out what the pilot suggests to wear on the day of the event.

Enjoy!

If she had said "no", that would have been a long ride down.
