I would like to hear some feedback from the women of ARFCOM on my recent blog post related to women's carry issues.

If I'm reading your blog correctly your saying that most instructors recommend a women to carry off the body?

This sentence: "Within the realm of concealed carry instructors, the most derided way for women to carry is off body."

If that is the case, I have to disagree. Its your blog and your opinion. But I would think most instructors would always recommend for their students (male or female) to carry on their person. I understand carrying on your person is uncomfortable but its not about comfort. Its about safety.

If your blog is geared towards helping women you might expand on the different ways to carry. Talk about the pros and cons of each.

I'm glad you touched on the problems women have with always being told we need a revolver because we cant rack the slide. Its one of those things that piss me off.

Derided means: To speak of or treat with contemptuous mirth.

No I am saying most instructors tell their students not to carry off body. I believe if done properly, it can be a viable means of carry, even if inferior to on body carry, it is better than not carrying.

Thanks for the comments, keep them coming.

Thanks i did not look it up. I guess that would have been smart before I talked. I totally agree about it being better than nothing at all.

You WAYYYY overestimate the majority of NRA instructors. Most are awful and don't have a clue.

I have never taken an NRA class so I wouldn't know. Hope that's not true for all of them.

It's more that the majority of people are window lickers, NRA Instructors are just people... There are plenty of non-NRA instructors that also like the taste of glass.
