Value on fly rods is somewhat difficult to nail down. Alot has to do with condition and the reputation of the rod in question. Two piece rods are not in as high demand as multi piece rods. But if you can find a buyer who knows that rod you could get a higher price.

The Sage center axis rod is a great rod. But it is unconventional and fly fishing is defenitely heavy on conservative types. I only know this because I sold them for years. After showing the center axis rod to a client the next question was almost always "can I get the rod with a normal reel seat?"

My suggestion is to fleabay them. You will get exposure to a wide audiance and will likely maximize your $$. I was recently offered $350 for my Ari T Hart F-1 Traun. I have fished that reel around the world and we have gone through some interesting times over the last 30 years. Is it worth $350? Probably would have been a good deal for me but that reel is special so it will stay with me, my kids and hopefully my grandkids for many years to come. Value is in the eye of the beholder.
