Movie "The Divide"?
Anyone see this or hear any feedback. Saw it in Walmart today. Has Michael Biehn and a few others in it. Something along the lines of nuclear bombs going off, people trapped in building, supplies running out kinda deal. I've never heard of it.
Saw it a while ago. It was good.
It's more about social\group dynamics(Cabin Fever\Isolation) than survival.
I was interested until I saw the preview. Looks like a bit too much horror for my tastes, which is a pity since obviously I'm a Michael Biehn fan.
Here a link to a trailer:
The Divide
It's really, really bad.I quit watching it about half way through. Don't waste your time or money.

I would agree with your assessment. Some dark, shit in this movie.
A little cheesey at first, gets somewhat better though a little slow at times. Disturbing and intriguing. I think the unanswered questions are the things that keep me remembering this flick. I would love to see part two.
I just watched it. I thought it was pretty disturbing aswell, but well worth the 2 hours.
Just watched the trailer, and I will definitely be watching this movie.
The psychological part of surviving anything is the biggest hurdle to overcome. In my opinion its what will determine who lives and who dies. The two biggest killers in any crisis is impatience and stupidity.
Very good movie about the psychology of survival and group dynamics.
Also it just shows you how dumb some folks can be..think Lord of the Flies.

I agree.
It wasn't action packed or exciting the whole way through.
But if you are posting here in this forum it's well worth the watch.
Go in with an open mind, and just think how people you may know would react after being caged up for weeks / months on end.
Anyone who works alone for long periods of time can surely understand how things could get this bad after weeks or months.

That's why I was interested in it. I recently watched two movies kinda off the main road, "Right At Your Door" and "Last Night" and like them for different reasons. Not because they were all that good but made me think about different things.
Worth watching, but definitely not with children in the room..
Very good depictions of how depraved people can become.
I would only recommend this movie to other preppers, but definitely not to just anyone else because there's some really vile things said and done in this pic.
There were a couple of things in the movie that just didn't make any sense at all. I don't want to spoil the film for those that haven't seen it yet, but it had to do with "presumeably" govt/military involvement early in the movie.
