That is a real bitch. Mine was bulged there, and while probably not as bad as your's, it kept me miserable for years. It still gives me trouble sometimes. Sitting does suck. I have a job that has me on my ass a lot, and I bought a treadmill. I walk a mile and a half on it in the mornings (3mph for 30mins), and it has helped my back a ton. You are probably too down in the back for that, but when you get somewhat better it might help you too. Good luck, hope you feel better, and thanks for the reviews!

trust me..getting laid aint that easy with this injury LMAO.
i can walk, sit, stand for a while..but its pressing on my nerve's so it bothers the living hell outta me at times. Ive been on leave since mid Jan. And it runs out soon, hopefully my ortho releases me when my PT regiment is over...or elese i may end up joining the masses of un employed....
so much for working yourself to the bone, to be let go LOL
I don't know if this will help YOU, but maybe..
Look into some "inversion" type rigs. With these, you lie down on a table, fasten your feet to one end, and roll yourself head-down with a couple of handwheels at your sides. I knew an MD, a radiologist, who swore by the thing for his bad back, and I have heard some good reports from other folks. Something about taking the weight off the disc, and actually allowing the body's own weight to stretch things out a bit. Might be you should look into it. Good luck! LMK if I can help.
