No experience, but based on its size and price, I would say this is probably the same or very close to the $85 Harbor Freight generator. This post is pure conjecture.

looks close to the HF unit
But says inverter so isn't the same
can't comment on its quality of if it has an auto idle or eco mode

don't know about this unit...but can speculate.

Given the stated Decibel rating at 23ft of 60dB it would be considerably quieter than the 800 Watt Harbor Freight generator I wrote a review on here. I tested the harbor freight gen at 72dB at 22ft (specs are 69 dB at 21ft).

60db puts it in line with the Honda eu1000i which I believe is 59db and 53db (1/4 load)

Might want to check with the MFR and ask if 60db is at half load or 1/4 load.

Pull the trigger and write a review for the rest of us

Made by ETQ, with the brand name licensed from Duracell.

It doesn't make any mention of the engine varying speed with load - which is essential in reducing noise.

With a 0.66-gallon fuel tank, the unit will run for 5 hours at half load

That's approx. 0.25 gallons per hour, per KW - which is comparable to most modern 4-stroke generators. By comparison, the HF style 2-strokes consume roughly twice that amount.

If the Amazon reviews are anything to go by, it looks like a real turd for much more than charging a cell phone.

Says 2-stroke.Might have to mix oil with the gas.

Pretty good (albeit short) review here.

I don't know who makes it but I know it's not made by Duracell, just branded like that because that's a popular brand.

My HF uses no more than 0.2 gal/hour @ 50% load. I can run 5+ hours on a tank.

The HF 2-stroke is rated at 800 watts continuous - which means that a 50% load would be 400 watts (0.4 KW).

0.2 gallons per hour at 0.4 KW is 0.5 gallons per hour at 1 KW - which is exactly twice the claimed fuel consumption of the Duracell model.

to lazy to mix a little oil and gas? for short term power outages they are perfect and cheap to run a small load like a TV and sat receiver or even a few lights. i have chain saws as well as weed eaters so i always have mixed fuel around so i dont see the big deal that its a 2 stroke.

Lazy? No, I just don't want to end up having to shoot myself from listening to the noise of a two stroke. I have two 1000 watt generators that Purrrrrrrrr.

guess you didnt read the specs. 60DB @23 ft. you probably would hardly hear it inside your house unless you have no insulation in your exterior walls. the honda 1000(which is only 900w running) is 59DB at 22 ft. while its not large enough to do what i need it to do its not a bad little genny.

You're right I did not read the specs. For $199.00 it's disposable. TOFTT and let us know what you think.
