I carry mine in one of these. Its built like a tank.

I just stuff it down in the pack.

I can't imagine any reason it would need its own case.

I have a jetboil "zip" and I cram it into my pack.

Oh, one tip with the jetboil; when you put it away after use, drop the can in upside down so that it rests on the plastic cap. This will prevent a rust ring from forming in the bottom of the cup.

Yeah, I learned that tip the hard way Comsetic issue only, but it was a PITA to scrub it out!
