new Crop started at Chefs ranch..

NO I didnt take a picture, didnt think about it untill after the release..
dumbass..
My pool I installed last summer baked hard as concrete in the drought...and
Filled up in Januray with our heavy rains. by April one, it had turtles(target pratice) frogs, and crawfish.....and looking pretty healthy so far..
so yesterday I released 4lbs of fathead minnows and 100 channel cats into it and hopefully with in a few weeks, I wont be buying fish at the store but
fr the occasional shrimp, salmon or scallops
...I do like fried catfish and can eat it broiled if seasoned property and cooked with a boquet garni for flavoring..

where did you source the catfish? Been looking to restock as the drought last year dried up one of my family's ponds completely and the other never had any fish in it thanks to the cattle

A former relative was a well-known catfisherman. As he grew older, he continued to fish but had more and more trouble using skinners and pliers. He could still use a knife though and began cutting the heads off, gutting them, and frying them with the skin on.
Eventually, he decided to save another step and fied them with both the skin and head in place.
Finally, he decided that fryin' them whole, skin-on, with the head, and with the guts still inside was fine with him.
