I ran across this little book in the Alachua County Library the other day. You can google it for info regarding the plot, but it is quite interesting.
The author is listed as "Nova", and the idea seems to come from a blog by the same name.
it is actually a pretty well written book. Hard to believe no one has read it, or has looked at the info
Good to hear. I want to read it, but it's currently unavailable on Kindle. The author pulled it because of poor editing quality (according to him and the reviews), and it is due to be re-released soon (March 1?). When it becomes available for Kindle I'll snag it up and try it.
Thanks for the review.

I was also going to buy it, but it is not available, which is just as well if it is an editing issue. I am getting really sick of buying books that read like they were proof read by a mentally disabled preschooler.
I have read the first two books in this series and enjoyed them. The are entertaining, not a lot of useful information. I have the third one on order through Amazon now.
Suuposidly parts 2 and 3 are available electronically

Not anymore. I got 3 chapters into AA3 and it was taken down. Main page says AA1 and 2 are down because there are no longer his, AA3 is down because it is in print. When I went to the site this morning, it only said AA1 was down because he didn't own it.
I read what was online several months back. I lost interest, it got really wierd.
Just finished it. Not impressed!
1st book was good the second one got really weird, espicially when they found that little girl and strange things like bunnies falling from the sky started happening.I powered through it and decided I was done with the series.
I bought 'em all on the kindle, and I've plowed through them all but the last one. I'll probably finish it this weekend.
They are indeed "different".

The main character "Gardener" is certainly an asshole (as he is frequently described). I could have definitely done without the whole "Freya"/Norse bit too. WTH???
Anywhoo, it was better than I expected, though that isn't saying much. I don't regret buying and reading them.
I desperately need something new along the lines of "Patriots", "Shattered/Deep Winter", "Lights Out", etc. Those books set the bar pretty high for me.
I enjoyed "Normal"and "Tales From The Ranch" by Grand, but then I'm biased as a former AF SP.
Somebody hurry up and feed us something really GOOD! We're starving around here!!!
