Best way to draw in coyotes in N. East Texas.....
Bout to try out some yote hunting on my buddy's land in north of Diana and we hear em all the time while sitting round at night. What's the best way yall use to draw them in!?!?! Wantin to tan me another hide for the wall

i see there's some ppl reading this post at least, does anyone have and good tips tho? even if it's what you heard from a friend who has a friend that knows a guy that tried it and it worked.......lol
Well, years ago I tried baiting with chicken livers and playing a tape of kittens crying with no success. But I'm a lousy hunter and had even less sense back then (if that's even possible). In other words, tag for learning purposes.
Predator calling works if you know the general area where the yotes are hangin out.
do you even try and put anything out as bait to draw them in as well??? My buddy said he's caught a catfish and slit it down the middle and hung it from a nearby branch when there was a lil wind to carry the scent down the pasture. Think that'd be worth a damn???
Roadkill works, deer guts work, ground mice works. If you look into trapping, then you can find lots of commercial baits and scent lures for yotes.
Red fox urine, coyote urine, gland lure, and other items that make a coyote think other predators may have been having luck in an area, can all help pursuade a coyote to investigate an area.

It is Texas, just go outside.
They are everywhere.
