Night Optics D-760 Gen 3 with hand select tubes snr of 29. I have taken coyote as far as 620 yards with this scope.

Is it legal to hunt coyotes in NC at night now, I thought they were in the process of legalizing it this summer?

We hunt at night on some Virginia farms.Bobcat, foxes, raccoons, and opossums may be hunted by day or night during authorized seasons.
* Nuisance species may be taken day or night.

You are right, right now in NC you can not hunt at night. We are actually meeting this month on the subject of hunting coyotes at night in NC.
A group of us selected hunters are meeting with the state and they are listening to our respected thoughts on night hunting do to the overwhelming
population of coyotes in NC and what they are doing to our deer as well as other animals in the state. Wish us luck !
