Good day gentlemen:
I'm embarking on a desire to lighten my SBR up slightly since I just ordered a YHM 762 suppressor.
My gun is configured with a Daniel Defense MFR (slightly machined down), SOPMOD, TLR-1, Aimpoint Micro, and MBUS and RVG.
The barrel is a 762x39 carbine and is probably .850 behind the gas block.
Would you recommend contouring fore and aft of the gas block to .700 with this many rounds downrange? And will the 15oz Ti suppressor be too much weight on the front of a barrel with a wall thickness of about .2 or so?
TIA, and God bless you guys

This is entirely accurate. I sent the barrel to them and it was 25oz with low profile gas block and pins. Upon receiving it, the -4oz savings was noted. The gun went through a rigorous 200rd drill as fast as I could fire it without annoying the other shooters Friday. I am very well pleased with ADCO's work and will bring as much business to them as I can in the future. Thanks guys
