We need one.

Sold out as I was trying to check out just now. Back to waiting for the email notification. Good work BCM... keep em coming for the slow guys like me.

I saw it up since the email...contemplated for 4 hours...

I figured if it took me that long I could wait...

I'm sure those uppers will be in stock for days...well until MD guys start running a new kit.

Anything those MD guys touch turns into unobtanium...

Just hope it isn't as long of a wait again until the next batch are ready.

Yeah i was on duty when I got the email, called as soon as I got off duty. Out of stock. I would put one of these to good use if BCM ever makes more than 5 at a time. I've been on the email list for about 6 months.

that would be sick if they offered the 13" troy Vtac rail on the 14.5" middys as I prefer it over the 11"

Got one! Got the email notification and made the purchase on my phone while working first watch. Good thing I was working or I'd have been fast asleep and missed it again.

Of course it was two days after I broke down and got the standard weight upper.

all i have to do is, shave the gas block, put a rail on it and pin the A2x i got with it. I'm thinking a KAC URX II rifle length would go perfect.

I ordered mine at 0745, got shipping confirmation at 0915 and will probably receive it in about 9 days.

Freaking Hawaii....

P.S. the trick is to get wife approval AFTER you order. That's the only way....

wtf bro. I mean, really. Are you kidding me? I was supposed to be the only guy in the state with this setup. Now I'm really depressed...

Look at my order from BCUSA and TNVC

Items Ordered: Status:
# 1 of : BCM Folding Battle Sight - REAR (mfg by Troy Ind) - Black
# 1 of : BCM Standard 14.5" Mid Length (LIGHT WEIGHT) Upper Receiver Group [Muzzle Device:Add Battle Comp BC 1.5 Black (Permanent Install)]
# 1 of : BCMGUNFIGHTER Charging Handle (5.56mm/.223) w/ Mod 4 (MEDIUM) Latch
# 1 of : Magpul MOE Handguard - MID Length - BLACK
# 1 of : Magpul MOE Trigger Guard, Polymer - BLACK

TNVC
Aimpoint Micro T-1

Anyway. How do you like it Is it noticably lighter than other uppers youve used?

Sorry bro, there's more than a few people running LW middys here. I like it a lot. I've run several different middy configs in the past and I like this the best. I hate to say it, but I prefer the LW over my SR15 at this point... it's noticeably lighter than a standard BCM middy in the same configuration (I switched them out to check) and way lighter than a lightly accessorized SR15 (optic, VFG, scout, CTR). I used to run Noveske basic light carbines that felt like they balanced out a bit better due to the FSB sitting closer to the fulcrum, and the light stock I'm using on this one... but the weight felt about the same, and of course those weren't middys.

Where at in Hawaii?
