I know this sounds dumb but im new to ars so ill ask.got my bolt control group today & theres a small o ring sealed separately in the pack.is this a spare for the extractor?thanks camperdude

The O-ring is for the extractor spring if you have extraction problems, typically in shorter barreled rifles...not necessary in most cases.
