Think this one is going to be my next build. Anybody got a pic they could share of the finished project? Leaning towards the 9inch DD lite option.

I'm running this exact same upper. 9" seems quite short to me, IMO.

Is this with the FSB? IF not you will need a 12" rail!

Is this with the FSB? IF not you will need a 12" rail!
I am debating FSB. I should have clarified that the DD llite 9 would be used in conjunction with the FSB. I also love the look of low profile gas block and a 12 or 13 inch rail. Decision, decisions. I am leaning towards the FSB option as I have a BCM middy w/DD lite 12 already. Throwing some variety in I suppose.
What is the weight savings between the BCM 14.5 lightweight vs. gov profile? Pretty noticable?
Edit: See where BCM says approx 3-4oz between the LW and Govt. Would have thought more.

The key is WHERE it removes the weight from. Since its all basically in front of your support hand, you will notice 3-4 oz.
I switched to all LW barrels, and I love it.

Got a BCM lower inbound for a new 14.5 middy. Still undecided on two things though- BFH barrel or standard? Lw or govt profile? Leaning towards lw non BFH. Someone sell me on an option.
