hello, i have a CMMG AR-15 .22LR M4 Upper Assembly with Front Sight Post, i want to take the front sight post to install a longer hand guard my problem is that i think the front sight post pins are fake or welded because they wont come out, and i just want the front sight out, any help would be very appreciated
They are real pins....and like many.....are real tight. Also, there is normally a proper direction to drive them out as many pins are tapered.
Here is a step-by-step with pictures from another site. I know there are other references here. I am too lazy to type this all out myself tonight when others have done such a good job in the past.
