C-products mag or ammo?
While at the range shooting remington 55g fmj (L223R3) through C-products 15 round mags I had two malfuntions. During both events the bullet actually got jammed back into the the casing and the powder came pouring out. Never had this problem with pmags shooting both wolf and remington. Now the question is was it a mag problem, ammo, or gremlins? Magazine was seated properly, weapon was oiled and clean. I did not take any pictures unfortunately.
This was using a Model 2.
It would most likely be a magazine problem if you had no problems with other magazines. To be sure try the same ammunition in the known good magazines and if it works you can rule out the ammunition being the problem. Then try ammunition you know works in the problem magazines to see if you still have failures.

The weak crimp is aknown problem with the Rem UMC ammo.
