How about some pics of one assembled onto one of your UltraMatch Billet uppers, maybe with an 18" barrel?

Any plans for preorder for the 14in?

Will these still fit the Adams piston setup?

When can we expect the 7" setup and what sort of pricing will they have?

This...also are the other lengths mentioned supposed to be released around the same time as the 12"

Anyone know if the 14" would be too long for a 14.5" barrel or should I just get the 12"

This is the 15" rail on a 16" barrel, originally posted by user StagArms in one of the other Evo threads:

IMO, 14" on a 14.5" might be a bit much.

Yeah maybe your right...really just trying to decide what length I want. I like the Rainier ones over the Samson ones especially with the small weight savings. I have 2 14.5" uppers I am looking to add a rail system to...

Maybe an 11" or 12" depending on release dates...

I am wondering if the clamping area of the rail is any smaller than the original, to provide more clearance for shotgunning it?

Crazy question...

According to your site's description, they attach to a standard barrel nut with some sort of heat sink in place.

Does that mean that these could be installed onto barrels that were already pinned by removing the barrel & delta ring assembly and going on from the chamber-side of the barrel?

Is this the same diameter as the TROY VTAC ? ? ?

Which one is lighter ? ? ?

I may be wrong here but the Samson/Rainier is listed at 11oz w/ the heatsink but retains the 2oz barrel nut making total weight 13oz.

Troy doesn't make a 12" but their 11" weighs 9.93oz and the VTAC version you showed weighs 11.20. Overall they are similar weights but the Samson/Rainier has the bonus of not having to remove the stock barrel nut which is a big plus, especially to those with pinned flash hiders.

Hmmmm, the 14" with the 13.7 WOA 223 and a KX3 should would look good!

Yes, you could cut the delta ring assembly and mount assuming the pinned gas block is low profile.

We will take preorders on the 14" when we have better ETAs.

It will fit the Adams and pricing will be close to Samson EVO rails. Ours may be slightly higher because we are including a QD attachment piece instead of one of the rails.

The key benefit that these rails have over the VTAC & TROY (which I can't say enough good things about as I love the VTAC & TROY), is the heatsink. If you run this hard and run the VTAC/TROY hard, you will see a BIG difference in heat reduction.

The price changed on the site from the special pre-order price to the normal price I'm guessing.

Hopefully that means we will be seeing these in the next couple days.

those of us that preordered at the original price, are we locked in on that, or is there a price change
BRider  [Team Member]
4/28/2011 10:08:00 PM
My understanding is the preorder price is the discounted price and that is what we are at. Now anyone that orders pays the higher price. That is what made me sneak in my order two weeks ago, save a few bucks.

Hmm... I know I placed a PRE-ORDER for this rail - however - I log into RainierArms and check my ORDERS and nothing comes up...

That would SUCK if I didn't get in on the pre-order!

We ordered 75 rails initially and stopped taking preorders after 50. So far, we have shipping confirmation for 22 which should be here later in the week. We will ship these in order and should see more coming in the next week or so. We won't be taking any more orders until we fill all the preorders at the intro price and have them in stock.

I know this is took longer than expected but it will be worth the wait.
