I'm having a problem fitting the TX-4 on my Surefire M3. When screwed all the way down it will not work. When I back it off a quarter to half a turn it will activate but is very loose and moves around. With the stock head I start to feel resistance before it stops while screwing it down. With the TX-4 there is no resistance and just stops.
It looks correct according to the picture that was shipped with it. Larger outer spring around the smaller inner contact spring. Any ideas?
It was crazy bright for the brief time I got it to work!
I emailed TNVC just now but though someone on ARFcom might have an idea so i could test it out tonight.
Hmm, not sure here as they're hundreds of heads out there now with M3's. I would advise sending us your whole light and Tx4 so we can have a look-see for you. We will look for the email and get shipping instructions out to you. Thank you.
I stretched out the larger spring and it is working correctly now as far as i can tell. Do you think its good to go now or still need to get checked out?
Took it outside and its amazing how much more light there is compared to the stock M3 bulb!
Keep an eye on it. If a miff of trouble rears it's ugly head, I sent you shipping instructions.
