Red only Strike Fire that much brighter?
For those of you who have tried the red only version of the Strike Fire is it noticeably brighter then the red/green model? I am using my Strike Fire in a department carbine operator class and at times have wished it was a bit brighter. Tossed in fresh batteries at the end of the day so we will see if it improves tomorrow. I am thinking if it was bit brighter it may be a bit quicker to pick up in the bright sunlight. Trying to decide it its worth while to sell the red/green and get a red only.
On a side note the Strike Fire is getting ALOT of interest in the class. Lots of people playing with it saying they really like it and then being blown away when they find out the price point. It held up to a decent impact today and help zero perfectly! I think there will be a handful of guys ordering once the class is over!

I started out with the red/green and it washed out during bright sunny days. Swapped it for a red only and the dot was night & day difference brighter.
Oh yeah, red/green with the red on high washed out in bright sunlight. Red dot only is barely visible on the lowest setting in bright sunlight but setting two is just right; can't image needing to go higher than that.
