Spikes Trigger Guard

Just received my billet trigger guard from an online vendor. No roll pin or set screw included. No big deal I have plenty of roll pins and I'll pick up a screw at the local hardware store.
Question is, what size is the trigger guard set screw... 4-40 seems loose but a 6-32 won't fit. Is there a size in between that I'm missing? Maybe a 4-40 cap screw?
Because it's a forging on a forging maybe the fit can be snugged up a bit with a dab of silicone on the receiver ears? Anyone know?
