Crush Washer and DynaComp

So I just got the DynaComp shorty and when I tightened it up, the solid side that should be oriented on the bottom is about 220 degrees from the bottom. I can probably get another 40 or so out of it but I don't see myself getting that full amount to correctly index it. Any ideas? Can I use a shim system like AAC includes? or maybe heat the washer up?

I suggest pre-crushing the washer in a vise, just a little.

For the best indexing, switch to the shims.
