Adams Arms New 5.56 PDW Upper

Adams Arms has expanded its line of complete uppers with a new 7.5" 5.56 PDW .... retailing for only $749!!!!
These uppers come with a fluted 7.5" barrel, Daniel Defense Lite 4.0 rail, and the Adams Arms piston system installed.
With the Adams Arms Piston System you get the benefit of a piston chamber that is the same volumetric pressure as the other length piston systems. This allows you to get the proper amount of chamber pressure and the proper cyclic rate, making this short barreled upper a reliable functioning firearm.
Combine this reliability with the compact size and you get an upper that's a favorite amongst private security and avid shooters.

Question: The first picture looks like a pinned gas block; the second picture is a bolt-on. Which will be shipping?

Is there a recommended buffer for these? I'm getting some FTE's on my PDW kit. I'm in the process of upgrading the extractor spring/insert and adding an o-ring. Considering it "allows you to get the proper amount of chamber pressure and the proper cyclic rate," would getting a heavier buffer reduce FTE's as well?

I "believe" most dealers can arrange for the substitution of the long rail for the DD4.0, at least on the conversions. I'm not sure about built uppers but contact Giff at Amendment Arms and see what he can do. He has taken GOOOOD care of me (always but) very recently on a group of PDW group buy folks. He's good people and does great business.

Ordered mine today... Spikes buffer tube, magpul sling attachment plate, magpul sling, ergo-grip... virgin Stag lower for now.... I'll probably be replacing that lower with another nicer virgin lower before all too long.

Guys, call Giff at Amendment Arms as I originally said OR call Adams Arms if you are interested and serious. I know it has been done BUT I don't know if you can do one of their pre-built uppers with the long rails or not.
