I recently sent an email to the adams guys with a few questions about their uppers and since I haven't heard anything in the last 3 days or so I thought I would ask here. Do you know if they make a perm 14.7" upper? Also what is the customer service like? I had a couple other questions but I can't remember them right now.
Basically I am thinking about picking up an upper and want to know what I'm getting into.
I LOVE the Adams Arms Uppers. The customer service is great, if you havent heard back from them I would resend the email. Jim Granger and his crewa are prety good about getting back to customers. If you dont like ypur set up I am sure they will do what they can to fix it. I dont think they make a 14.7 but at times have limited runs and may be able to get/make what you want. Post your other questions when they come to mind

They don't make a 14.7" upper.
I had my barrel cut down by ADCO to 14.8" and they didn't do anything with the gas port. It works flawless. I run XM193 5.56 and have run some Federal 223 as well. No issues.
I think I am going to resend the email to make sure it goes thru. I was hoping to find out if they did the adco cut barrrel stuff at the factory that way I could just skip that step.
What kind of groups are you guys getting with these uppers compared to your other guns? How would you rate the components? Thanks guys.
