slide fire
How do you get a slide fire to work with the AA piston upper? Or a better question has any one tried this and did you get it to work. I can only get a few rds fired and then it jams, I have tried the 1 oclock gas position and that did not work either.
The Adams that I have is the 5.56 and my friend just got the 545 and neither works with the slide fire, we also tried to bump fire but that did not work at all. I emailed Adams Arms and have not gotten a reply so I am asking this on this forem.

Had trouble getting mine to fire when I first got it but went to the southern WV shoot last Saturday and we all left grinning and shot the shit put of it. I have it on a colt 6920. Took me a bit to figure it all out but now it is working great.
I know that my slide fire works great on my DI upper but what did you do to get it to work on your Adams piston upper?
My slide fire did not work very well at all on my DI LMT M4 upper. It did however work excellent on my Osprey defense Bushmaster M4 upper piston conversion???
