I bought an upper receiver from Adams Arms. I needed one that was close to to blue print specs to fit my lower. I called, talked with their tech support before I purchased one. Received it. Tried it. It was too loose on my lower (measures .501" at pivot pins). Upper was .494 at pivot pin post.( Colt blue print specs are .500 +/- .004) Just trying to get a semi tight fit. Called Adams Arms back told them my problem and ask for RMA to send it back for a refund. I was told I didn't need a RMA just send it to them , so I did. Got a message on my phone saying they had this receiver with my name and info, but wasn't sure what to do, told to call them. I have tried several times left three messages with my info and that I wanted a refund. It's been three weeks haven't heard a word, nor has my account been credited. I get the answering machine every time I call. Are these guys still in business?

i sent AA a pm yesterday from this site, late morning and they replied before the end of day. in the past i've called and always got through and if the person i asked for wasn't in someone else stepped in and took care of my problem or question. so i'm pretty happy with their cs.

They called the same day i originally posted, but I could not get anyone to return my call. I was told exactly what to do when i returned my part and did what I was told. they had my package didn't know what to do with it. I'm still waiting for .308 piston kit.

Not trying to make excuses for them, but SHOT show is next week and everyone in the industry is working hard to get their demos, booths, etc up and running. The beginning of Jan before the show is always a bad time for the industry. Adams is our manufacturing partner and have great customer service, may be best to try calling again or wait til after SHOT show.

Take care,
Dave
