Top dead center orientation of a Triple Tap when installing it.
Hi, I just purchased a triple tap to install on my SR15 and need to know how I should orient it. The instructions say that top dead center is between slot #10 and slot #11 which would mean the triple tap will be slightly canted. The instructions also say "For right hand shooters, a little can't by the width of one bar (when viewed from the muzzle as above) from TDC at 11 o'clock is OK. Likewise a little can't of one bar at 1 o'clock is OK for left handed shooters". Do most people orient it so the wrench flats are horizontal or do they slightly can't it to the right or left depending on the shooter like the instructions say. I have read in another forum that you do not need to time the triple tap to the shooter and that it should not be canted. I just wanted to get other peoples opinions on the matter. Maybe Trey or Kevin could chime in on what they think.
Thanks
Joel
I leveled from the bottom, making the lowest cut on each side level with the other side.

i adjusted untill the locking arm lifted straight up/vertical..
the cut-out basically ended in a near perfect bottom vertical alignment..
