Just installed a DD Omega 9.0 rail on My Noveske and am wondering if I should put some blue loctite on the rail and barrel nut screws? The directions don't call for it, but I'm wondering if anybody has had them rattle loose after alot of use?

Always side with caution. It will not hurt anything to do, but has the potential to help. Red would be a different story.

I never had mine loosen up.. Im always hesitant to use it... I love it for the choppers, but my guns, I take them apart and move stuff around to much, and sometimes its rite at the range where I dont have the tools to start breaking loctite loose, plus if there too tight you strip them and who wants to deal with that...
There is a string looking material that tightens up threads made by permatex... Not sure if they still make it but I used it a while back..

I've been running one for a long time. I've had it off several times and it has never loosened up. I would not use loctite on them because they use an insert in the aluminum almost like a helicoil. It is possible that you could pull the insert out with too much loctite. Mine has a plastic type washer for the screws I think that really helps in the backing off of the screws.
