Hey guys, I've got a RRA Wylde chamber 16" stainless middy upper that I've been using as my iron sight rifle. So far it's been great, but I haven't had a chance to mount up a scope and see what it'll do. Lately I've been wanting to build up something to run a 3-12x scope on to test out my capabilities at 200+ yards.

Right now I've got another bulid with a 1-4x that I like alot. It'll go around 1.25 MOA for me, which I'm happy with, but it's not set up to be a precision gun. I'm kinda hoping for something that will have slighly better ability to reach out and be accurate.

So, is this a decent barrel for this (it's already free floated), or should I skip it and build either a dedicated SPR-ish rifle or a Varmint rig?

Each barrel has its own individual potential. RRA promises 1MOA usually.

Your barrel could be sub MOA but without testing who knows... Remember quality ammo is imperative.

If you want to step up to something that promises sub MOA you should look into the Rainier Ultramatch, Krieger, Lothar Walther and the like.
