A positive review for a change.

Never had one of these before but I ordered their 'Patrol Rifle' as a present for my wife. It's a basic AR with an Aimpoint PRO thrown in. It was bit of a shot in the dark (I've only bought parts from them before) but the price seemed fair and they were able to deliver in 3 weeks. I initially tried to get her a basic AR from Spikes but the lead time went from 2 months, to 6 months, to 'we really don't know'. I am a big fan of Spikes but they seem to have MAJOR parts availability problems if that's the lead time on a basic AR. Yes it's good quality kit, but it's not *that* good.

Anyway, I had a little shoot with the Palmetto to, erm, test it for her. Thing works well! Ate up all kinds of ammo and was as accurate as I'd expect.

For approx $800 (call the optic another $400), it seems like good value. And the customer service is friendly and helpful which is a bonus.

I go to the PSA showroom from time to time when in SC. The staff there is polite, ready to help and has only a friendly attitude. I love that place

+1. I put a kac rifle length rail on mine, perfect a4 clone. Great shooter and very reliable thus far. Will purchase from PSA for next rifle kit, hopefully a 300 blk sbr for my registered lower. I wish th ey were available now tho

Congrats on your new rifle.

If you mean "A positive review for a change." regarding PSA, they are actually pretty frequent. Usually any complaints stem from a few impatient customers wanting their upper yesterday. lol!

I have a couple complete PSAs and have suggested them to probably 1/2 dozen co-workers and all have been great.

Enjoy
