Any alternatives to the PSA $299 uppers?
Are there any other companies/brands out there that have similar specs and pricing when compared to the current PSA products/deals?
I'm pretty much just looking for an upper, minus BCG and CH.
hmmmmm, I doubt you are going to find a better deal for the value than PSA
You could buy a cheaper upper, like a Blackthorne or a hesse, but you would regret it.....

Haha, yeah, blackthorne/hesse has never been more than the butt of a joke for me. The only other company I've seen that's close is DSA, but I feel that the quality and features of PSA is much greater. Price differences are minimal at best.

Plus DSA is several months from being able to deliver product unless something has changed recently.
DSA sucks. Everytime i tried to order, it wouldn't tell you whether the item is in stock or not. I always end up ordering and having to cancel it because i'll get an email a week later stating it's backordered with no date as to when it'll be in stock. Though they charge my credit card quickly :/
I went through this a few weeks ago trying to find an M4 upper without BCG and CH. Pete at Legal Transfers had a good price on a 14.5" Stag with pinned flash suppressor, and BCM was about the same price for something comparable. However, both came with stuff I didn't need. After pricing components I decided I couldn't hardly save any money putting one together from parts, so I ordered the PSA 16" M4 upper.
Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but it looks good. I'd do it again today if I needed another upper.
Could check out
M&A Parts. This
kit details tells you more about who makes the components they sell. Generally keep everything in stock and have fast turn-around for delivery, for me it was 3 days. Good luck hunting, it sucks trying to find stuff right now.
