I am trying to remove my colt rogers super stock to install a single point sling attachment. I have tried lifting the depress lever and sliding the stock back but it stops at the last position. I recall reading apost but am having no luck with the search function. what am i doing wrong?
pull the front of the lever down all the way and slide it to the rear.
Look for the cross pin that is slotted through the pin that goes up and down. Use a tool (I used a flat head screw driver) to pull it down. I think I placed the muzzle on the ground and pinched it with my shoes and then sitting in a chair, pinned the receiver between my knees, pulled the cross pin down, and slid up. It took a few tries. Might want to try having a friend hold the rifle while you pull. Always do this stuff in a safe manner
