Don't know mutch about them. A buddy of mine called and told me
he had a all factory colt 7.62x39 H bar upper! Looks like it hadn't been mounted
on a lower, so I guess 95 to 99% in condition and 5 c-prod mags.

So school me on them! What should I pay?
Are thay reliable, worth a damn, or what ever else comes too mind?

Colt 7.62x39 uppers are particulalry valuable in that they were well-researched & developed with what appears to be funding from a highly-interested party at the time. As such, they did a lot to make the bolt geometry ideal for the x39 case, which involved a deeper bolt face to place the extractor in the best place to articulate with the Russian short case's extractor rim.

Other guess-name 7.62x39 bolts use the bolt face depth of the 5.56 bolts (.124"), which is easier I guess to manufacture, but isn't the bolt face depth Colt adopted for x39. Over the years, I have learned that Colt has a series of protocols for parts sourcing, assembly, testing, and QC that is not standardized across the industry by any means when it comes to AR15's, although many companies have started to mirrior some of those standards as more and more people shoot high-volume schedules, and realize that all are not created equal.
