 Selector markings

Well after a lengthy wait I received the SGW receiver in the mail today, Victor & his crew did a beautiful job re-anodizing the upper & lower
A little too good a job as the selector markings are gone, they where faint to begin with so I'm not to cheesed about it.

So, do I leave well enough alone or should I send it to Ident & take my chances with color fill?
It's one of those things not unlike having a pebble in your boot,"You know it's there & choose to ignore it, but eventually it drives you nuts"

Leave it alone.

Victor erase the selector markings on my SGW lower also. I don't really care. Besides you could just barely read it before. All the roll markings were weak.

You could always use your Dremel tool. Some guy's got a tutorial on fluting barrels that way, so it can't be too hard.

I don't know, I think I actually kinda like it without the stuff...

I'm thinking you could almost do a "prototype" build on that...I mean, Colt did basically everything at least once...So who's to say...

Send it to IDENT, bite the bullet and get that stone out of your boot, you will not be happy if you don't and you know it.
