Really want one and wanted to know are they worth the little extra money? Thinking about going spikes all the way on the next build and would lke a little feedback

Yes they are great rifles and make great parts.
If you order one from them you will have to wait 6-8 weeks or longer.

Doubt if Spikes is worth any extra money but they are a decent product and owner lurks in GD side of things if you ever have any problems. They are known for decent quality at a budget price. Think I'd use Colt or FN if building an A-2 but I'm just an AR enthusiast. Gonna be hard to beat real USGI surplus quality for the money but Spikes is supposedly milspec from same vendors.
